Internships

"My internship with CrossRoads challenged me intellectually, physically,
and also spirtually. It was unlike any internship I have had before..."

Why Intern with CrossRoads?

"This internship made me grow so much into the man of God that I know I'm supposed to become."

Noah Mulvaney, Summer Intern, New Orleans

CrossRoads provides a unique environment to grow both as a young adult and as a follower of Jesus Christ, even if you are not seeking to serve in full-time missions. Our interns’ experiences have impact on the rest of their lives - in how they relate in the workplace, to their neighbors, or in finding ways to serve right where they are.

What to Expect

Interns serve in two ways: engaging the local community and assisting/leading incoming mission groups. This can include any of the following: planning and implementing events in the community, leading a construction project, facilitating small group discussion, cooking, cleaning, and working alongside the mission groups who come serve at your site throughout the summer. *Storytellers interns will document the summer through photography, video and social media, as well as participate in some of the above responsibilities.*
You are also expected to spend time with your fellow interns, grow together as a team, and regularly renew yourself through spending time with the Lord and reflecting.

"Walking into a completely new experience, I left my heart and mind open for whatever God had planed for me. However, I did not expect God to work as much as He actually did..."

-- Allison Leip, Summer Intern - Appalachia
