Serve with CrossRoads Missions in Piedras Negras, Mexico!

CrossRoads Missions is actively involved in community development and ministry in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Desiring God’s “will be done; on earth as it is in heaven”’ we work to improve the education, housing, and environment for families in Piedras Negras. On-going projects include a forty-four home subdivision, a school and a park. We are constructing a new building in the subdivision of Piedra Angular, which will be utilized to house groups and community events. Other opportunities for outreach and service exist in Medical Missions, children’s ministry, and evangelism. Through fellowship, worship, and encouragement, participants work together as the body of Christ to display a testimony of the love of our Savior.

Piedras Negras Outlook

CrossRoads Missions has made a concerted effort to establish itself year-round south of the border. Seeds are being planted with local pastors, churches and faith-based organizations and these relationships will produce a variety of new opportunities for service in 2008.

Piedra Angular (Cornerstone) - Subdivision

We continue work in the subdivision community, Piedra Angular (Cornerstone). At this time, we have several homes in various stages of construction. In the summer of 2007 we were able to complete four more homes within the subdivision. Please keep the families in your prayers that are preparing to move into their new homes. There are currently 27 complete homes in Piedra Angular.

Tornado - 2008

In May of 2008 Piedras Negras was hit by an unusual storm that resulted in a tornado touchdown. This slideshow was taken by Lulu Colmenares, a CrossRoads Missions staff member who resides in Piedras Negras. These photos were taken from our facility location in Piedras Angular.
