Storytellers Update From Haiti
September 9th, 2018  |  by

Members of CrossRoads Missions’ Storytellers team recently returned from a quick trip to Haiti, to chronicle some of the service work being done in that country.

The Storytellers team in Haiti was participating in a joint project with Haitian Impact Christian Ministries (HICM) and the Tennessee Christian Teen Convention (TCTC). A convention held each year in Gatlinburg, Tenn., TCTC draws an annual attendance of approximately 5,000 students hailing from all over the eastern United States. For the past few years, the offerings at TCTC have gone to support the ministry of HICM in Haiti, which includes building churches, schools, and starting a teen conference for Haitian teens.

Storytellers went to document the work and to prepare the groundwork to lead students from the conference to Haiti so that they can see and be involved with the ministries they support.

The mission of Storytellers

Our Storytellers work with ministries and missions to help tell the story of their ministry and the story of those they serve. This often involves traveling to their ministry site and producing content, including photography, video, gathering personal stories, and helping with marketing efforts through the creation of logos, branding designs, brochures, and other promotional materials.

If you are looking to serve and have experience in fields such as journalism, photography, videography, and graphic design, reach out to join Storytellers today.
