One Day Opportunities
One Day Missions Opportunities with CrossRoads

At CrossRoads Missions, we believe in providing service opportunities for everyone: all ages, backgrounds, and locations. Maybe you want to serve, but don’t have the time to commit to a full week. Maybe you have family or job responsibilities that require you to stay close to home. Whatever your situation, CrossRoads Missions offers several opportunities for you to serve at home, through one of our one-day trips.

Where does CrossRoads Mission offer one-day service opportunities?

LocalLouisville –Working with local organizations such as the Fuller Center for Housing, our volunteers and full-time staff seek to transform and renovate damaged and abandoned homes in the city. These projects make homes available to individuals and families who wish to become part of our full-time community.

Help Build Hope – Help Build Hope brings a building project to you. Volunteers construct the frame and walls for a new home for a family in need in the parking lot of your church, company, organization, or group. Help Build Hope offers these events across the country. Are one-day service opportunities suitable for me?

Are one-day service opportunities suitable for me?

CrossRoads Missions offers these events to any of the following:

  • Individuals
  • Families
  • Local churches
  • Small groups (school clubs, sports teams, etc.)
  • Businesses
  • Civic groups

All LocalLouisville and Help Build our skilled team leaders oversee Hope events. Construction expertise is not a requirement to participate. We are your expertise! Participants of all ages are welcome, but we require all volunteers under the age of 16 to accompany a guardian. For Help Build Hope events, we recommend 80 to 120 participants for every set of frame walls.
