  • Scripture: The Bible is God’s recorded revelation to His people. The Canon of Holy Scripture contains the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments and is the inspired and incarnate Word of God. We believe that all Scripture was designed for our instruction. II Timothy 3:16-17.
  • The Trinity: There is only one eternal, almighty, and perfectGod. Within the Being of God exists three eternally distinct andcoequal Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three Persons are the one true God. Matthew 3:16-17.
  • God the Father: Creator and Sustainer of the universe. He is all loving, knowing, powerful, and present. Genesis 1:1Ephesians 4:6.
  • God the Son: Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who took upon Himself human flesh through the miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless human life, willingly took upon Himself all of our sins, died and physically rose again. He is our Redeemer and sits at the right hand of the Father as our advocate and mediator. He will return visibly to the earth as King of kings and will judge every human being. John 1:1-3John 1:14aIsaiah 9:6Hebrews 4:14-15Matthew 25:31-34Matthew 25:41Matthew 25:46.
  • God the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit convicts the world of guilt in regard to sin, righteousness and judgment. The Spirit draws people to Jesus Christ, indwells all believers and guides them to lead Christ-like lives. The Spirit also gives believers Spiritual gifts with which they are used to serve one another, the church, and a lost and needing world. John 16:7-9John 16:13John 14:17I Corinthians 12:4-7I Corinthians 2:14-16.
  • Salvation:Salvation is a gift of God, free to all who confess Christ before men and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The death of Christ on the cross is the only sufficient payment for our sins. All have sinned, but all can be saved. The Bible teaches that one receives God’s saving grace by placing ones faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ as Lord, and being obedient in baptism. Ephesians 2:8-10Hebrews 10:10Romans 5:1-2Acts 3:19-20Acts 2:38Matthew 10:32Matthew 28:18-20Romans 10:9I Peter 3:21.
  • The Church: The Church, which is the Body and Bride of Christ, is composed of all persons who through a saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Corporately and individually, its members strive to worship, serve, and glorify God through prayer, praise, diligent study, application of the scriptures, evangelism, good works, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The ultimate mission of the Church is the discipleship of all nations – not only the saving of souls (which is primary) but also bringing the Gospel to bear on every aspect of life and thought until the Lord returns. Ephesians 2:19-22Matthew 28:18-20I Corinthians 11:23-25I Thessalonians 5:16-18.
  • The State of Man: Humanity was made in the spiritual image of God,to be like Him in character. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude and action of disobediencetoward God called sin. This attitude and action separates man from God. Romans 1:18Romans 3:23-24.
